| I realised also that my early working life as a stage and exhibition designer, architectural and product designer, sculptor, magazine publisher, property developer and owner of a construction company had been leading me almost subconsciously to this moment.
I knew that all those years of endeavour had been preparing me for a new career producing architectural enviroments that combined the sculptural form with applied colour and texture that achieve an artistic effect on the people that would use them.
Almost all the projects that have occupied my working life have brought me to the point where now, as someone describes their requirements, the image appears before my eyes. This experience has been been hard won and forms the basis for the next chapter in my career in three dimensional forms. |
